If you have a bread machine, making your own pitta bread is super easy.

Makes: 4 pitta breads
150ml lukewarm water
275g plain flour
15g olive oil
1 teaspoon dried active yeast
1 pinch salt
1 pinch sugar
Method Prep:15min › Cook:15min › Extra time:15min › Ready in:45min
Place all ingredients in the bread machine, starting with the water. Set machine to dough cycle. At the end of the cycle, divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Push them down with the palm of your hand then roll out about 1cm thick.
Place on a baking tray and cover with a damp tea towel. Leave to proof for 20 minutes. au four, couvrir d'un linge humide et laisser reposer 20 min.
Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. Bake till puffed up and lightly colored.
