About this recipe:Both adults and children love these. Rice Krispies® added to melted Mars® bars to make chocolaty, crispy and delicious treats. I can't eat wheat so this is great instead of biscuits or cake.
200g (7 oz) chocolate
3 (60g) Mars® bars, chopped
90g (3 1/2 oz) unsalted butter
260g (9 oz) Rice Krispies® cereal

Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl, set over a pan of simmering water. This can be left to melt as you do the next step.
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat; once the butter has started to melt add the chopped Mars® bars. Stir constantly as some parts of the mars take longer to melt than others.
Add the cereal, saving about a third to add in last. Mix well making sure all the cereal is covered; mix in last of the cereal. Spread evenly in a Swiss roll tin. Cover with chocolate and leave to set.
Cot into squares or fingers.
I usually use butter instead of margarine as it gives a richer tasting biscuit.
