Drain the syrup from 2 x 425g cans green figs into a small pan. Split 4 green cardamom pods and add them to the syrup with 2 tbsp dried cranberries and the grated zest and juice of 1 orange. Put on a high heat and boil for 1 minute. Meanwhile, divide the figs among four bowls. Spoon the hot syrup over the figs and serve.
