Chilli bean wraps

    To make a soup into a complete meal, sometimes you need a little more than just a hunk of bread. These wraps can be eaten on their own, but are best served with Roasted Cherry Tomato Soup (recipe on this website) for added protein.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 410g can red kidney beans in chilli sauce
    • 4 soft flour tortilla wraps
    • 4 cos lettuce leaves
    • 2 thinly sliced spring onions

    Method

    1. Gently warm a 410g can red kidney beans in chilli sauce. Meanwhile, warm 4 soft flour tortilla wraps under the grill for 10 seconds on each side or in the microwave for 10 seconds. Shred 4 cos lettuce leaves and arrange over the tortillas. Top with the beans and 2 thinly sliced spring onions. Roll up the tortillas and slice each in half.
