Doughnut babas

    Add a little rum, cream and fruit to ring doughnuts for a sophisticated easy dessert.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 ring doughnuts
    • rum or orange juice
    • 250g raspberries
    • 50g black grapes
    • thick cream
    • icing sugar

    Method

    1. Prick 4 ring doughnuts in a few places around the top and put them on plates. Spoon 1 tbsp rum or orange juice over each doughnut. Pile 250g raspberries and 50g black grapes inside the doughnut rings, saving some for decoration. Add a dollop of thick cream from a 150ml carton to each. Dredge with icing sugar and decorate with the reserved fruit.
