The whole family will love this version of a classic risotto flavoured with bacon and chestnut mushrooms.
Used different ingredients. Stuck to basic recipe except I added two sticks of celery and a handful of cashew nuts to give it some crunch. A good recipe. - 10 Nov 2009

I used shiitake and porcini mushrooms, chicken stock and added the bacon on top to keep it crispy. it was rich and very tasty shall be doing this recipe again - 21 Oct 2014
