Banana cream

    A recipe I made by myself. Delicious, but you'll need a day to stay at home to make this ice cream - no machine needed except a freezer.

    Serves: 4 

    • 3 to 4 ripe bananas, mashed
    • 1 (300ml) pot double cream
    • 3 teaspoons drinking chocolate powder
    • 2 to 4 tablespoons whipped cream, for serving (optional)
    • fresh mint leaves, to garnish (optional)

    1. Get your mashed banana and mix it with double cream in a plastic bowl and put it in the freezer for one hour.
    2. Then take it out again and put in 3 teaspoons of drinking chocolate and mix well then put it back in the freezer for an hour.
    3. Continue to mix the ice cream every half an hour for the next 4 hours until frozen. To serve, spoon into bowls and put a dollop of whipped cream on the side, and if you want to be really posh garnish with a fresh mint leaf or a dusting of drinking chocolate powder.
