    About this recipe: Garlic lovers, this marinade is for you! It works well with a 2 kg joint of roast beef or 8 large chicken breasts.

    Serves: 8 

    • 150 ml vegetable or olive oil
    • 5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 4 tbsp soy sauce
    • 3 tbsp HP sauce
    • 4 tbsp water
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • pepper, to taste
    • 1/2 onion, minced
    • 10 cloves garlic, peeled and minced

    1. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
    2. Pierce several holes into meat with a sharp knife, and place in a shallow roasting dish. Stir marinade once more and slowly pour over meat, smothering the top with the garlic and onions.
    3. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or up to 36 hours. Cook as desired.
