Curried honey mustard imparts a golden hue to tender baked chicken.

Ingredients

1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
100g butter, melted
175g honey
4 tablespoons prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder

Preparation method

1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas mark 4.
2. Place chicken pieces in a shallow baking tin, skin side up. Combine the melted butter, honey, mustard, salt and curry powder and pour the mixture over the chicken. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/4 hours (75 minutes), basting every 15 minutes with the cooking juices, until the chicken is nicely browned and tender and its juices run clear.
