In a double boiler over hot (but not boiling) water, combine chocolate, butter and golden syrup. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth, then add vanilla.

Spread warm glaze over top of cooled cake, letting it drizzle down the sides.
Very easy to make, used the exact ingredients only changes was that I made this in my electric fondue. Will certainly be using again. Thank you for sharing.
I made this for my daughter's birthday cake and it was lovely. The kiddies liked it because it was almost like chocolate sauce. It added extra moisture to the cake (i used it on chocolate cake) which was so nice.
