These mushrooms are the quintessential topping for all types of steak. I have people ringing me and asking me for the recipe even years after I have made them for them. They are that good!!

I made these to serve atop Delmonico steaks Mr. LTH had grilled to perfection and they were the perfect accompaniment. I didn't have any red wine, so I subbed a dash of red wine vinegar instead. I enjoyed the subtle tweak the red wine vinegar and teriyaki made from simply using butter/spices. THANKS for the recipe, irishmountaingirl!  -  25 May 2013  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)

These were good, but really, there was nothing to differentiate them from any other sauteed mushrooms that I've had. Don't think I really need a recipe for this.  -  21 May 2013  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
