This apple crumble recipe originally called for 110g of butter, not 125g. Additionally, the brown sugar was off and should be 110g. The recipe has been amended. - 07 Oct 2010
Help! What did I do wrong? I followed the recipe exactly, but using 125g of softened butter I ended up with a very sticky paste not a crumbly mixture. I had to spread it on with a pallette which was quite difficult as it kept sticking to the apples! It tasted lovely, but I was not happy with the crumble topping. Sorry. - 03 Nov 2009
Dont like this recepie at all. It was so difficult to work with even after adding another 100g of oats and 100g of brown sugar. Hope it tastes ok as it looks good! - 20 Apr 2012
