These delicious muffins are moist, tender and oh-so-moreish! They are flavoured with plain chocolate, cocoa powder and white chocolate chips. It's a chocoholic's dream come true.
Followd receipe but did change 6 tablespoons of oil to 4 and added 2 teaspoons of orange essence didnt have enough white choc chips s done half white and half milk , lovely , also didnt use cake cases just greased the tins with butter and a sprinkle of flour found the cases to fiddly , cooked on 190 for 15 mins as fan assisted oven .Very pleased and so easy to do , pic attached - 22 Jan 2012
Used different ingredients. I added milk chocolate chips and used 100g melted dark chocolate. Instead of making 20 I made 12 whopper muffins. Delicious! - 02 Dec 2010
Really lovely recipe. I made a few minor adaptions. (Skipping the melted plain chocolate and just adding an extra 50g cocoa powder. I also changed the oil to 115g of melted butter and halved the sugar.) They still turned out fantastically chocolatey and were lovely and moist. Advice I would give to anyone wanting to make these is only mix the batter about 15 times or else you will end up with tough muffins. (I uploaded a couple of pictures of how mine turned out.) - 15 Jun 2012
