    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 50g butter or dripping
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 100g coarse oatmeal
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Method

    1. Melt the butter or dripping in a frying pan. Add the onion and cook until slightly browned and soft. Add the oatmeal a bit at a time, stirring until all the fat is absorbed.
