Ice cold lemonade

    Perfect for a picnic or family barbecue, this recipe gives you the perfect ratio to make as much lemonade as you need.

    Serves: 3 

    • Ratio
    • 1 part lemon juice
    • 1 part caster sugar
    • 6 parts warm water

    1. Juice the lemons, and put in a large jug, add the warm water, and the sugar. Mix well until all dissolved.
    2. Place in fridge (or if short of time in the freezer) until chilled, about 20 minutes.
    3. Pour over ice, add chopped fruits of your choice and serve.


    To make enough for three servings, use 250ml lemon juice (about 6 lemons), 200g caster sugar and 1.5L warm water.
