Sausage Stovers

This was a quick & simple meal my Mother in Law used to prepare,she came from Scotland near Oban and was a regular meal for the Family,cheap and very filling. When preparing do not add more than the amount of water stated, as a rule of the thumb,it should only cover 1/4 of the contents

Ingredients

1lb Large Pork/Beef Sausages cut into 1/2" pieces
2 Medium size Onions cut into thin slices
2lbs Large Potato's sliced into small small chunks
Water 1/4pt

Preparation method

1. Combine all ingredients in a suitable saucepan
2. Add water
3. bring to boil and simmer for required time
