About this recipe: This was a quick & simple meal my Mother in Law used to prepare,she came from Scotland near Oban and was a regular meal for the Family,cheap and very filling. When preparing do not add more than the amount of water stated, as a rule of the thumb,it should only cover 1/4 of the contents

Serves: 4 

  • 1lb Large Pork/Beef Sausages cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 2 Medium size Onions cut into thin slices
  • 2lbs Large Potato's sliced into small small chunks
  • Water 1/4pt

Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a suitable saucepan
  2. Add water
  3. bring to boil and simmer for required time
