Quick spiced fruit chutney

2 people made this

About this recipe: This chutney or relish is quick and easy as it uses cranberry sauce from a jar. It's a blend of spiced apple, cranberry, apricots and sultanas and is delicious with cold meats. It does taste better after it has chilled for at least 3 hours.

Serves: 20

  • 1 large apple - peeled, cored and diced
  • 275g cranberry sauce
  • 30g dried apricots
  • 100g sultanas
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
