This is a great base recipe, and meat eaters will never guess it's vegetarian!

3 Tbs of chilli powder was too hot for me, so i would suggest maybe 2 and adding more to taste, rather than it end up being too hot and ruining the whole dish. Also I have a family of 6 and it fed us all twice so i would also suggest cutting back the amount of ingredients as it could have easily gone to waste... I would also suggest adding some tomato puree rather than the tomato juice to add more of a tomato flavour... Other than that, great recipe, would definitely make again how ever with these minor adjustments! - 12 Jan 2011
Excellent recipe, i was getting fed up of mince meet, too fatty/grissly/costly etc but using Quorn has totally revitalised it for me. I am now a convert and will never go back to mince meat again - 02 Nov 2010
