Quick, Delicious Pancakes

    You could make low fat pancakes by changing the milk to skimmed. It doesn't get much simpler than this recipe - no scale required!

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 mug plain flour
    • 1 mug of milk
    • 1 beaten egg
    • knob of butter

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:18min  ›  Ready in:28min 

    1. Add the flour, milk and eggs to a mixing bowl and beat until you get a sort of thick consistency.
    2. Melt the butter on a pan using a medium heat. add around a ladle of the mix to the pan and cook on each side for 3-5 minutes.
    3. Can be served with anything of your choice, e.g. ice-cream, syrup, chocolate spread or berries and cream, or maybe keep it simple with a sprinkling of sugar and some lemon juice.

    Milk to flour ratio off for traditional pancakes. Needs about twice as much milk  -  18 Feb 2015
