About this recipe: This pizza is fab. Trust me, there will be no leftovers. Pesto comes together with other savoury ingredients to make a killer pizza.


Serves: 8 

  • 1 large shop-bought pizza base
  • 8 tablespoons pesto
  • 175g fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 50g prosciutto (chopped, if desired)
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas mark 6.
  2. Spread the pesto evenly on the pizza base. Arrange mozzarella slices over the pesto; scatter prosciutto over the mozzarella. Sprinkle pizza with the fresh parsley, fresh basil and grated Parmesan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven, until crust is browned and pizza is hot and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
