    About this recipe: This is an easy, tasty, pretty way to whip up a side dish in about 1 minute. Be careful and quick with these - we want them blistered, not blown apart!

    Serves: 4 

    • 2 teaspoons butter
    • 1 teaspoon dried basil or 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
    • 1 punnet cherry tomatoes
    • 1/2 teaspoon caster sugar
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. Melt butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the cherry tomatoes, basil and sugar. Cook for about 30 seconds, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Continue cooking for a few seconds more until the tomatoes have just started to blister.
