About this recipe: I invented this recipe when I started running out of smoothie components. The oats and/or wheatgerm can be omitted for a smoother smoothie. If using frozen peaches, omit the ice cubes.


Serves: 2 

  • 175g sliced peaches
  • 4 cubes ice (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons wheatgerm
  • 1 tablespoon oats
  • 250ml vanilla soya milk

  1. Place the peaches, ice, nutmeg, vanilla extract, honey, wheatgerm, oats and soya milk into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses to serve.
