    About this recipe: Excellent fruity drink on a hot day! Was a great drink while pregnant, and can be changed in a variety of ways.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 1 banana, chopped and frozen
    • 250g frozen raspberries
    • 180ml orange juice
    • 60g vanilla yoghurt

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Ready in:5min 

    1. In a blender, combine banana, raspberries, orange juice and yoghurt. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

    This smoothie had the honor of being my first-ever homemade smoothie! I found it to be delicious and very refreshing. I did not have any frozen raspberries so I used frozen "mixed berries" instead. At first taste, I thought that the smoothie was not sweet enough, but then as I continued to drink it, the flavors of the fruit and the tang of the yogurt really came through.
