A delicious low-fat muffin. Children love them, and it's a great way to get them eating wholemeal. If desired, add sultanas or some chopped nuts.

I was some what nervous about making this recipe after reading the reviews, so I made a few changes first. I added 1 tbs of baking soda, 1 tbs of cinnamon and 5 tbs of honey. They taste just fine and had no problems rising. I did find they were not as firm inside as I would have liked, so I think I will use dried apples next time. - 02 Feb 2013
