I first made these in 2000. These are my favourite dinner rolls! I got the recipe out of a cookbook that famous country singers contributed to. This was sent in by Steve Wariner. You'll have no room for dinner after you start eating these! I make my rolls a bit bigger, so of course my yield is considerably less then recipe states. This recipe has also been tried in a bread machine with perfect results.

It was a VERY wet mix. I added the extra 300g of flour during mixing and probably another 150g once turned out to make it kneadable. It was still a very sticky mix so I didn't knead for very long. Once it was ready to divide I added slightly more flour, rolling the balls in it to take the sticky edges away and it baked beautifully in 12 mins. I did one batch in a muffin pan as directed and they came out very nice, the rest I just popped onto a baking sheet and they were just as good. An absolute hit with the family. We thought they were delicious and soft. Only 3 lasted past dinner and they were all eaten hot from the oven. I'll definitely make these again. - 19 Feb 2015
Hya could you tell me the process for the bread maker please? I'm new to bread makers and not very confident unless I have a solid recipe in front of me! - 12 May 2013
Sloppy dough and unworkable with this mix. I added and added and added flour to make it non sticky! It's in the oven now, I'm not expecting a success with this mess. - 14 Oct 2014
