    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 500g lamb/beef mince
    • 1 onion
    • 1 red pepper
    • 1 green pepper
    • 2 tins chopped tomatoes
    • 1 tin kidney beans in chilli sauce
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp hot chilli powder
    • 3 cloves garlic/garlic paste
    • tomato puree

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:40min  ›  Extra time:10min  ›  Ready in:1hr 

    1. Fry the mince and onion in a large pan until browned (usually 15 mins or so)
    2. Add chopped peppers and garlic and continue to cook for further five minutes.
    3. Add chopped tomatoes, and kidney beans. Stir until everything coated.
    4. Add cumin and chilli powder and a dash of tomato puree.
    5. Leave to cook until peppers have softened, add salt/pepper to taste and extra chilli powder if needed. If mixture gets too thick just add some boiling water.
    6. Serve with rice and garlic bread.
