Damper with Cocky's Joy

    35 min

Very traditional Australian dish that my family would make when we were out camping in the middle of the bush (would use camp fire to cook and put the damper on a stick - the hole the stick would leave was filled with the butter and golden syrup)

ive seen Damper bread being and was totally surprised at how easy it is to bake at home. I shall be attempting to bake Damper next week purely because I've got three loaves of wholemeal to see my broad through and since that's gone I'll be baking my very first Damper and reporting back  -  23 Aug 2012
