Jean's cheats mushrooms in hollandaise sauce

    I went to a top rated London restaurant and had this lovely starter. When I asked the chef for the recipe he told me that they used home made Hollandaise but he had used a jar of ready made at home and no one knew the difference.

    Serves: 4 

    • Mushrooms any amount ideally open ones but cheap button ones still taste good.
    • Jar of hollandaise sauce (epicurean holl sauce is lovely)
    • Pate
    • Red wine for poaching

    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. Poach mushrooms in red wine for 4 mins.
    2. Stuff with coarse pate.
    3. Turn upsidedown , cover with a thick layer of Hollandaise Sauce.
    4. Place under a hot grill and grill until bubbling and brown.
    5. Serve with crusty bread.
