About this recipe: This is really good. Put your doubts aside and have pizza for pudding!

Serves: 8 

  • 1 sachet yeast
  • 250ml water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 325g strong white flour
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella)
  • 100g mixed white, milk and plain chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp toasted hazelnuts

  1. Kneed flour with rest of pizza base ingredients for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into 2 bases. Cover and leave for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 190 C / gas mark 5.
  4. Use your fingers to make indentations all over the dough. Brush base with melted butter and bake until crust is crisp and golden brown (around 20 minutes). Immediately top base with chocolate spread. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and put pizza back in oven for 1 minute until chocolate starts to melt.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts, cut into generous wedges and serve.
