    About this recipe: BBQ ribs barbecued and then baked in a delicious glaze of treacle, honey and ketchup.

    Serves: 8 

    • 8 thick cut pork ribs
    • 225ml honey
    • 225ml ketchup
    • 2 tablespoons treacle
    • 500ml BBQ sauce

    1. Preheat barbecue for medium-high heat.
    2. Lightly oil cooking grate. BBQ ribs for 12 minutes, turning once during cooking. Transfer ribs to a baking dish.
    3. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. In a large bowl, stir together the honey, ketchup, treacle and BBQ sauce.
    4. Bake ribs, uncovered, for 1 hour. Remove from the oven, and drain fat. Coat ribs with the honey sauce. Continue baking for another 1 1/2 hours, or until ribs are tender.
