    About this recipe: This BBQ sauce is great on any meat. Lots of vinegar. Be careful though, this one's spicy.

    Serves: 48 

    • 350ml cider vinegar
    • 10 tablespoons ketchup
    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
    • 1 pinch red chilli flakes
    • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
    • 125ml water
    • salt and black pepper to taste

    1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the vinegar, ketchup, cayenne pepper, red chilli flakes, sugar and water.
    2. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the sugar dissolves. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from heat, and let cool. Use to baste your favourite meat while barbecuing.
