350g radiatore pasta
4 tablespoons sesame seeds
4 tablespoons vegetable or olive oil
150ml soy sauce
120ml white wine vinegar
3 1/2 tablespoons sugar
275g cubed, cooked chicken
30g chopped fresh parsley
50g coarsely chopped spring onion
200g torn fresh spinach leaves

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a small frying pan over medium-low heat. Stir in sesame seeds and cook until golden brown. Remove from heat. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar and sugar. Pour dressing into a sealable container, and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together pasta, cooked chicken, and 250ml dressing (reserve remaining dressing). Cover salad, and refrigerate at least 6 hours.
Directly before serving, stir in parsley, spring onions and spinach. Toss with remaining dressing, if desired.
I had never heard of radiatore pasta before i was making this for a party and wanted it to look nice. I found it at Waitrose by Lloyd Grossman. I also added some fresh red chilli to spice it up a bit. - 30 Jun 2011
