About this recipe:This is a really simple brownie recipe. It has been tried and tested many a time and they certainly don't last very long in the cupboard. I always use chocolate chunks when I bake them, however walnuts are just as good, it is just a family preference. These morish gooey chocolate treats are an all-year all-occasion must bake.

just use some common sense, if it seems dry add some liquid, (i used some o.j), if it starts to burn turn your oven down,move the cake down, cover it, dont just watch it burn then blame the recipe!
i also added a tsp of baking powder for a slightly lighter brownie.
dont bother trying to test brownies with a knife to see if they are cooked, it is meant to be wet and sticky inside!
very quick even my 10yr old enjoyed making them and she has the attention span of a nat! - 10 Jun 2012
