    About this recipe: Delicious and super quick curry - cheap and filling!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • Bag of fresh spinach
    • 1 onion (diced)
    • Tin of chickpeas
    • Tin of chopped toms
    • 1 chicken or veg stock cube
    • 3 cloves of garlic
    • 2 small potatos (cubed)
    • 2 teaspoons of tumeric
    • 2 teaspoons of ground coriander
    • 2 teaspoons of cumin
    • 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
    • 1 cardomon pod
    • splash of tabasco

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:1hr  ›  Ready in:1hr10min 

    1. Fry onion on low heat with crushed garlic and all dry spices.
    2. Add potaoto, chickpeas, tin of toms, spinach and stock cube dissloved in half pint of boiling water.
    3. Add splash of tabasco
    4. Simmer on low for an hour
    5. Serve with warmed naan bread and rice! De - lish!

    Used different ingredients. I was looking for a chicken and spinach curry recipe and found this one, I subsidised the chick peas for chicken thighs cut in half - delicious! - 30 Aug 2009
