Zesty Glazed Pork Kebabs

    Zesty and easy peasy, lovely for hot summer bbq's. Replace fizzy orange in marinade with diet variety for a low-cal slimming option.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 5 

    • 500g diced pork
    • 1l fizzy orange (Fanta/Tango/Orangina)
    • 4 peppers (Yellow and orange)
    • 2 Large onions
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 pack of kebab skewers

    Method
    Prep:1day  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:1day20min 

    1. Separate diced pork into the bottom of a large dish.
    2. Pour the fizzy orange onto the pork covering it completely. Add salt and pepper to taste.
    3. Let the pork marinate overnight.
    4. Cut peppers and onions into chunks.
    5. Drain the fizzy orange from the pork.
    6. Alternate pork, pepper chunks and onion chunks onto the kebab skewers.
    7. Place on the barbecue until cooked through.
    8. Serve with wild rice or salad.
