Smoked salmon pizette

    This quick and easy party nibble is moreish, delicious and economical. You can use smoked salmon trimmings to save money.

    Serves: 6 

    • 2 (200g) tubs cream cheese, softened
    • 450ml soured cream
    • 5 tablespoons chopped spring onions
    • 6 pitta breads
    • 300g smoked salmon, chopped
    • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh tomato
    • 2 tablespoons capers, drained

    1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
    2. Stir together cream cheese, soured cream and spring onions. Spread mixture evenly on top of whole pittas. Place pittas on lightly greased baking trays and bake in preheated oven for 7 to 8 minutes.
    3. Transfer warm pittas to a serving platter, sprinkle with salmon and garnish with diced tomatoes and capers.
