Preheat the oven to 250 C / Gas 9.
Put the self raising flour, margarine and caster sugar into a bowl, rubbing the mix with your fingers until it look like breadcrumbs.
Get a baking dish; I use a 23cm (9 in) round one. Spread the fruit filling on the bottom of the dish, then put the flour, caster sugar and margarine mix on top, spreading it evenly, covering all the fruit filling.
Bake it for about 15 minutes, until crispy and brown. Take it out and leave it to cool for 2 minutes - then it's ready to eat! Enjoy!
You can use almost any type of fruit filling you like for this recipe. Apple is of course a favourite, but you could try anything from black cherries to gooseberries.
