An easy peasy apple crumble

Serves: 6 

  • 150g self raising flour
  • 100g margarine
  • 50g caster sugar
  • a tin of fruit filling


Prep:15min  ›  Cook:18min  ›  Extra time:2min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Heat the oven at 250 degrees C. Put the self raising flour, margarine and caster sugar in a bowl, and rub the mix with your fingers until the mix is like breadcrumbs.
  2. Get a baking tin and spread the fruit filling in the tin and then but the mix on top.
  3. Cook it for 10 to 18 minutes, until it crispy brown and leave it to cool for 2 minutes - then it's ready to eat!

Altered ingredient amounts. had to add more flour as i found it to buttery, so i used about 200g of flour. - 26 Apr 2010
