About this recipe:Cooking a turkey breast in the slow cooker keeps it very moist and is much easier than roasting. A few tablespoons of dry soup mix seasons the turkey and creates a nice onion-flavoured gravy.

Cut off any excess skin from the turkey, but leave the skin covering the crown. Rub onion soup mix all over outside of the turkey and under the skin. Place in a slow cooker. Cover, and cook on High for 1 hour, then set to Low, and cook for 7 hours.
There is no need for liquid in this recipe; the moisture that naturally collects in the slow cooker is all that is needed. Be sure to secure the lid tightly and to resist opening it so that steam doesn't escape.
