I found it that the meatballs kept falling apart, so instead, I blended the ingredients together.....
Using a food processor blend the following:
1. Two crust pieces of bread
2. 2 Garlic cloves and 1 onion
3. Crack 1 egg and add Italian herbs
4. Add the mince
5. Blend together - 23 Feb 2011
This is an absolutely fab recipe, really tasty and comforting on a cold night. Once the meatballs had finished cooking in the slow cooker I added the meatballs and the remaining sauce to a pot of penne and ran some soft cheese through, topped with mature cheddar and baked in the oven on low for 25 mins.
