This is an absolutely fab recipe, really tasty and comforting on a cold night. Once the meatballs had finished cooking in the slow cooker I added the meatballs and the remaining sauce to a pot of penne and ran some soft cheese through, topped with mature cheddar and baked in the oven on low for 25 mins. Lovely recipe, very easy to do. Didn't add passata to recipe just a little tomato puree. Made more than enough sauce and was delicious! - 10 Oct 2009
