Place pork fillet in a slow cooker with the contents of the soup sachet. Pour water, wine and soy sauce over the top, turning the pork to coat. Carefully spread garlic over the pork, leaving as much on top of the pork during cooking as possible. Sprinkle with pepper, cover, and cook on low setting for 4 hours. Serve with cooking juices on the side.

Did not have onion soup or wine but did have the loin joint. Used gravy granules with bullion cube. Chopped up an onion and sprinkled round the meat and spread some sage & onion stuffing mix on the top. Result was gorgeous but its all a matter of individual tastes. - 18 Oct 2010
I replaced the wine with a good pear cider and replaced the garlic with an apple,Oh yes and couldn't get a a packet of onion soup so cut out the water and used a 400g tin of soup it was gorgeous! and very easy - 06 Jan 2013
I made this recipe for my daughter, partner and M.I.L, (I am veggie) they all loved it and said the meat was nice and tender. It was so quick and easy to do, within 5 minutes it was in the slow cooker and cooking. I did add some gravey granules to it at the end as it was too watery for us. We ate it with mash, cabbage, peas and carrots. I will definately make this again. - 13 Dec 2009
