Spicy Lamb Shanks

    Serves: 4 

    • 1 tablespoon oil
    • 1 onion, sliced
    • 2 rashers bacon, diced
    • 4 lamb shanks
    • 1 tin tomato soup
    • 250ml water
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon mustard
    • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 4 tablespoons white vinegar

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:8hr  ›  Ready in:8hr15min 

    1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on low 8 hours. Stir occasionally if you wish.

    This is a verry delicious meal, i didnt add the bacon as im muslim. i added casicum,and lot of chilli. also added chicken stock for a more flavourfull dish  -  05 Sep 2012


    I've been looking for the perfect lamb shanks recipe and this was the first one I've tried. I found it to be quite tastey, but not quite the recipe I'm looking for.
