About this recipe:
A great autumn treat for kids and adults alike, and a brilliant way to get kids to eat some veg.
1 generous scoop vanilla ice cream
100g pumpkin purée
75ml semi-skimmed milk
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a 250ml glass and sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.
Make it dairy free...
This is equally delicious using Swedish glacé and soya milk for a dairy free treat!
You can find tinned 100% pumpkin puree at Waitrose, via Ocado or in specialty shops. You can also make your own with this recipe.
