About this recipe: A traditional Indian drink/dessert. Surprisingly refreshing but rich, this has a memorable taste. It can be served warm in winter, or over ice in summer.


Serves: 4 

  • 500ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons double cream
  • 140g finely ground almonds
  • 60g icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rose water

  1. Combine the milk, cream, ground almonds, icing sugar and rosewater in a blender, and blend until thoroughly mixed and smooth, about 1 minute. Serve over ice.
