About this recipe: A delicious and easy canape that is sure to impress guests, these dates are stuffed with Stilton and wrapped in Parma ham.

  • 12 dates
  • 100g (3½ oz) Stilton, or other blue cheese such as Roquefort
  • 2 slices Parma ham, sliced into strips

  1. Halve the dates and remove the core. Stuff each date with a little Stilton, then wrap in a strip of Parma ham. Secure with a wooden skewer and bake for 5 minutes at 180 C / Gas 4.
