Slow cooker chicken and mushroom curry

    This is really easy to make and comes out lovely and creamy. You can also cook it in the oven, just stick it in at around 180 for an hour and a half.

    Serves: 2 

    • 4 chicken thigh pieces
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 1 tin condensed low fat mushroom soup
    • 150g sliced mushrooms
    • 2 teaspoons curry powder (or to taste)
    • 2 teaspoons dried mixed herbs

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:6hr  ›  Ready in:6hr10min 

    1. Fry the chicken in a frying pan to brown it a bit. Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
    2. Fry the onions in the frying pan until soft. Add to the chicken.
    3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker and give it a little bit of a stir. Cook for 6 hours on Low.

    Used different ingredients. added red pepper to give it some colour also a small amount of milk is delish  -  13 Jan 2010
