About this recipe:An incredibly easy way to round off a dinner party - but only if they aren't driving! I like to serve two small scoops in tiny dishes with shortbread, biscotti or amaretti. You can vary this any way you like - try Cointreau or Drambuie (my favourite), or add a few drops of real vanilla extract or some of the vanilla seeds.
1 (400g) tin sweetened condensed milk
2 (284ml) cartons or 1 pint double cream
12 tbsps Grand Marnier or other liqueur

Method Prep:3hr › Ready in:3hr
Thouroughly chill all ingredients first.
Whip the cream to soft peaks, gently fold in the condensed milk and liqueur, then freeze.
You can add more alcohol if you like, but remember that it will prevent the ice cream from freezing, so always serve straight from the freezer! You will get a soft, smooth, heavy texture.
