Beef or chicken marinade
This marinade can be used with any type of beef or chicken. If you want it spicy, mix in crushed chillies.
Ingredients
Serves: 12
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 175ml (6 fl oz) olive oil
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Place desired meat in marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 4 hours before barbecuing or grilling.

Used different ingredients. I used this on pork chops. It was so good. The marinade is slightly sweet and really has a good flavour. I didn't have any spring onions, so I used just sliced regular onions. - 15 Sep 2008
