Honey and Mustard Chicken

    Chicken breasts are baked in a honey and Dijon mustard sauce. This dish is really easy to prepare and tastes delicious. Serve with a crisp green salad or with rice, potatoes or pasta.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets
    • 175g honey
    • 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    • 115g butter, melted
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    1. Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas 5. Grease a shallow baking dish.
    2. In a small bowl, stir together the honey, Dijon mustard, melted butter and pepper. Place chicken in the greased baking dish and pour the honey mustard sauce over it.
    3. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, basting frequently with the sauce, until chicken is firm and juices run clear.

    it was really easy but it was delicious. i have just cooked it for my bf and me and we both loved it! i preferred to cook it with the half dose of butter and i cut fillets in small pieces.  -  11 Sep 2011
