    About this recipe: Finely chopped cabbage, grated carrots, egg and soy sauce are mixed together to form a burger. The burger is fried and served between two slices of toasted bread. If you're feeling extravagant, add a slice of ham.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • 35g cabbage, finely chopped
    • 1/2 carrot, grated
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 30g butter
    • 2 slices bread, toasted

    Method

    1. Mix the cabbage and carrot together in a bowl. Stir the egg and soy sauce into the vegetables and mix until combined.
    2. Heat the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Make a burger with the vegetable mixture the size of a slice of bread. Place the burger into the frying pan and cook until browned on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Place the burger between two slices of toasted bread to serve.
