Unique and a good way to use up the jar of beetroot you bought on a whim. Although it was good, I think that something seemed missing. Green bean salads often have diced onion and a bit of sugar--maybe that's it? (I'd test the theory but my husband liked it fine as is, so it's almost gone.)  -  11 Aug 2008

I thought this recipe was great! Very light, healthy, and easy to make. I changed it up a bit though. I used fresh green beans and cut them up. I thought they added a nice healthy crunch. I also used a Gala apple instead because that was all I had. I thought it added a nice sweetness. I also read the other reviews and decided to add some white onion also, which I thought helped kick it up a bit. I would definately make this again. I also added salt and pepper.  -  11 Dec 2008  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

I usually don't try recipes that aren't already rated. This was just ok. Unusual but just ok. It seemed to be missing something but I don't know what. I dont't know if I'll try again.  -  19 Dec 2005  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
